ABSOLUTELY BRITISH – British Choral Music at St Andrew’s
Join us at St Andrew’s on Sunday 4 October at 17:00 for an evening of beautiful British choral music with Hammarö Kammarkör, conducted by Charlotta Nelsson, with Helena Strömberg at the piano.
Taking place on the evening of our Harvest Festival, the concert opens appropriately with Edward Elgar’s harvest anthem Fear not, O land, followed by a wonderful selection of British choral music.
With its distinctly British programme, this promises to be a particularly fitting concert for St Andrew’s.

St Andrew’s Church regularly welcomes choirs and ensembles for concerts, and we are very happy to make the church available as a concert venue. As part of our mission to support musical life in the community, we normally offer the space free of charge.
To give you a clear overview of how concerts at St Andrew’s work:
- Venue: The church is provided at no fixed cost
- Support: In cooperation with SENSUS, we offer promotional support (social media, banners, congregation outreach)
- Financials: Performers keep 100% of ticket income (typically 100–130 SEK)
- Facilities: Historic organ and a high-quality upright piano are available
- Scheduling: Concerts normally take place on Sundays at 3 pm, with rehearsal time available on Saturday morning and on Sunday from noon.
