Sat 9 Nov: Poppy Day Tea (13:00 – 15:00)
Haga församlingshem, Haga Östergata 30
Bring along your friends and family (no need to book) for a traditional afternoon tea with homemade sandwiches, cakes and lashings of tea. Three lotteries with fantastic prizes. Entrance: 60 kr for adults, 30 kr for children. All takings go directly to the Poppy Appeal Fund, so do please join us and give generously! (Please contact Monica on 0733-293040 if you can contribute food for the tea or objects for the raffles.)
Sun 10 Nov: Remembrance Day ceremony (12:45)
After the wreath-laying ceremonies at the German, British and Commonwealth war graves, the German Congregation invite you to join the reception at the German Cristinae Church, Norra Hamngatan 16.
Fri 15 Nov:The Pirates of Gothenburg (17:30 – 21:30)
Book now for the Anglo-Swedish Society annual dinner and entertainment, this year with a pirates theme. Several British Club members will be performing in a light-hearted dramatised reading by the Not-Quite-a-Ceilidh ensemble.

No, not haggis! This is a buffet meal with delicious food from around the world. Cost: 100 kr, including wine.
